I am here today thanks to those who came before me, my wife, my family, my friends, my clinic staff, my doctors, and PubMed.
One of the first posts I read that gave me hope and direction was a writeup of a patient that instead of the typical 6 months of chemo, he just kept going. At the time of the writeup he had been going 3 years. I believe he was on mFOLFIRINOX, and FOLFIRI. Sorry this was really early and I can’t find the article anymore.
With that info in hand I talked my doctor into trying it on me.
At the time I set a goal, WHEN I made it 3 years, I would share my story and research so others could have hope and direction too.
