Yesterday the oncologist discussed Danny’s latest PET scan with us. He was encouraged by the fact the large pancreatic tumor did shrink some, which it had yet to do. He also told Dan he uses him and his desire to learn everything he can as an example to his new patients.
For this mornings chemotherapy appointment, Danny’s numbers were still low. The decision was made to give him treatment, but reduce his dosage as it had been two weeks since his last treatment. His numbers are just not bouncing back like they used to.
