Today’s PET Scan results…
1. No metabolic finding to suggest progression disease. No hypermetabolic hepatic lesion, pathologic lymph node, convincing peritoneal nodule or distant metastases.
2. Similar to multiple prior PET/CT, the primary proximal pancreatic mass is difficult to discern by FDG PET. There region again demonstrates nonspecific change. In addition, background hepatic uptake potentially obscures a small or mildly hypermetabolic lesion. Consider future surveillance with MR imaging
3. Additional incidental findings per above including chronic splenic vein occlusion, upper abdominal varices and splenomegaly
