Back at the hospital for Danny’s port placement. (Necessary for chemo. )
A port is an easy access tube that is implanted and threaded through his vein and into his heart. This eliminates the need for needle pokes every time he needs a blood draw or has chemotherapy.
Edit: we are home and he is resting. The procedure went well!
