Today I sat here and listened to Danny educate his doctor on a 2015 report of two medications that help to prevent muscle loss in pancreatic cancer patients. I also noticed his doctor and physicians assistant come prepared to take notes when they come to talk to him. Which is probably a good idea. His doctor is going to look at the medications he has researched.
This is a really good example of why you need to be your own advocate in all healthcare matters!
His platelets are right at the cutoff so chemo #9 is a go.
