The experiment went off pretty well. For the most part Dan was good and stayed in a resting position. As a result, he is back at it with the same regimen and an extra week break. Hoping that’s enough to help him get through these treatments in the next few months.
He did choose to get fluids after #41 however and I’m glad we decided to start working with the home health place when we did, and not in an emergency situation. It took literally ALL day to get him setup with fluids. There was a bunch of red tape, paperwork, and supplies to be delivered before the nurse could even get his IV started. On the plus side, it should be a simple matter to get him setup the next time he wants fluids at home.
I’m sure he will get fluids again this weekend now that we have all the stuff here. I really hope it helps.
