Here we are for chemo number 8 of regimen 2. The break was nice, almost too nice. It makes it hard to come back. We’re both nervous to see what the break did to his blood test results. Although we have another break scheduled for July, if his numbers are worse we will be cancelling the break. As nice as it was, killing the cancer is top priority.
His platelets are 131. Better than it has been but still not very high. His white blood cell count is low however. Really low. Didn’t seem to bounce back very much at all.
This could be because Dan decided to redo the ceiling in our upstairs hallway instead of resting this weekend? It may not have been GOOD For his physical health, but it did his mental health a lot of awesome.
